This is my all time favourite pen which also happens to be the oldest pen in my collection. It is a Parker Lucky Curve No. 20½. It dates from the early 1920s and is made of Black Chased Hard Rubber, often called BCHR for short.

The condition for a pen that is almost 100 years old is simply amazing. I only hope I look half as good when I get to that old age.

The pattern is a simple Herringbone etching through the barrel and cap. The cap itself is a dorned by a Gold clip with an inscription thereon, that reads:-
PAT SEP
5 16
PARKER
This is the Patent mark and dates from 1916. This appears on most Parker Pens around this time.

The nib is a Parker Lucky Curve No.2 and is very strong and yet extremely flexible. It is the perfect nib for Copperplate style writing, which is my favourite hand.

This pen has it all for me, a simple stylish design, age that is close to Antique and writes smoothly with the flexibility to glide across the paper.
